Dear Parents
We welcome you at Guru Har Rai Intelligent Treasure School, an institution that promotes meaningful and joyful learning, a school where we focus on complete development of our students by involving them in both scholastic and co-scholastic activities as suggested by CBSE. I am sure this will help our children to realize, understand & explore their talents.
For this new session we again have set higher standards and expectations for each and every student of the school and keeping in mind our core beliefs i.e. our vision and mission to develop them as soldiers in terms of physical abilities, values, punctuality and discipline. In order to do this, the parents and the school authorities must work together to inculcate certain values in the students. “Sound mind exists in a sound body”. Let us allow our children to develop physically and mentally. We are committed for the overall growth of our students and seek your full co-operation in implementing following points:
- Switch off the TV by 8:00 p.m. No programme shown is more important than your child.
- Take time to check your child’s school diary and help him/her complete his/her homework.
- Check their performance in all subjects on a daily basis. Pay more attention to the particular subject in which they are not doing well.
- Make them cultivate a habit to rise early. Make them practice meditation.
- If the family attends a function which goes late night, let the children take rest the next day.
- Avoid taking the children to late night parties as much as possible.
- Help them acquire a love for plants and to care for the environment.
- Read to them various stories of value at their time of sleep.
- Take them on a vacation during the holidays, this helps them learn observe and adapt.
- Identify their special interest and inherent talent and help them in further honing these skills. This will make their life more joyful.
- On Sunday’s and special days, make some food which is their favourite and ask for their help in preparing it.
- Children are very inquisitive. Try to answer their queries always. If you do not know an answer tell them politely but do not snub them.
- Inculcate in them a habit of self dependence in all walks of life.
- Do not allow excessive use of mobile phone.
- Make them help in household chores. It shows them dignity of labour.
- The most important is to make them acquire good values, so that they become good and successful human beings. We should help them make their lives better through the wisdom of our experiences.

Dear Parents,
Greetings from Guru Har Rai Intelligent Treasure School
We are delighted to welcome your ward back to school for the academic year 2019-20. The year will be full of ‘student centric learning activities’. Sincere efforts, to give the best to the child, will continue in the school throughout the year. Here, we share with you some important information. We expect your support and full co-operation in this regard.
Regularity of Students: We expect the students to be regular and punctual to school. A minimum of 75% of total attendance during an academic session would be necessary to appear for the Annual Examination.
Long Absenteeism: A pupil who has been absent from school for a month or more, is liable to have his/her name struck off without advance notice. He or she will be considered as a case of fresh admission for the purpose of readmission.
Transportation: The buses and vans ferrying the students to school and back home are not owned by the school. These are outsourced. Undoubtedly, the school takes utmost care to ensure the safety of students, but in case of any untoward incident, the school will not be held responsible.
Fee Payment: School fees should be regularly deposited on time as per the schedule fixed. Non receipt of fee circular will not be considered a reason for non-payment of fees. No student will be permitted to appear in the examination without fee clearance.
Safety and Security of pupils in the school:
1.Safety of children is our top priority. Please do not send any of your relatives/friends to school to meet your ward in the school. No request will be entertained in this regard.
2.Parents/Guardians will not be permitted to meet or take their wards during the school hours. No application shall be entertained in this regard.
3.Parents are not allowed to take children home in the middle on any working day except in emergencies. No half day will be granted to students.
4.All those parents who send their ward to school by personal transport are requested to drop/pick up their ward to/from the ‘parking area’. We do not allow the parent/guardian to come inside the classrooms at the time of drop/pickup. This arrangement is only to ensure utmost safety of your child and avoid overcrowding.
Expecting your unstinting support and cooperation.

PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM SEXUAL OFFENCE (POCSO) ACT, 2012
Dear Parents
Every child has right to education in an environment that is safe, protective and conducive to their overall development. The challenges of gender inequality, eve teasing and sexual abuse in school environment call for increased awareness and creating synergy among parents, teachers and children.
In order to ensure strict compliance to the Protection of Child from Sexual Offence (POCSO) Act, 2012, Guru Har Rai Intelligent Treasure School is taking several measures for creating awareness about sexual offences against the school children. Guru Har Rai School is committed to provide a fear free environment to the students for their balanced mental and physical growth.
Some of the endeavours made by Saint Soldier Educational Society in this direction are –
a. Provision of CCTV cameras on the school premises at all strategic places.
b. A complaint/suggestion box at the reception so that students can make written complaints.
c. Immediate action on reported cases of misconduct.
d. Self defence training of girl students, sensitization of girls on self care and health and sanitation through activities like - nukkad nataks, poster making competitions, quiz, debates etc on regular basis.
e. Close monitoring of academic performance and psychological behavior of the children, particularly in case of sudden decline in performance, lack of concentration, depression and aloofness. Proper counseling of the students is done in this regard.
